Sema Hospital

Fatih University Sema Health Practice and Research Center (Fatih Üniversitesi Sema Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi) was a state-of-the-art private hospital located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, in Maltepe district. It served as the teaching hospital for Fatih University's Faculty of Medicine and was known for high-quality healthcare services with specialized departments including cardiology, oncology, and general surgery. Following the 2016 state of emergency decrees, Sema Hospital was confiscated and transferred to the Ministry of Health via the Treasury. It was subsequently incorporated as an additional service building of Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital, continuing to serve patients but under state administration.
